Home Care Plus –
In 2004, the Jackson County Health Department received
funding from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation
to provide a registered nurse to assist elderly
residents in the county with medication problems.
The nurse is the key to helping clients understand
their medications and how to take them. Visits from
the nurse can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending
on the individual's needs.
