Pediculosis Control – The Pediculosis Program is a joint effort between the health department and the Jackson County Jobs and Family Services to assist in management of head lice. Nurses and nursing assistants provide supportive services including education, counseling, treatment and prevention. Referrals are received from schools, family members, community resource centers, physicians and JFS.
