Pediatric Specialty Clinics – Specialty clinics are sponsored by the JCHD and the Ohio Department of Health throughout the year. Pediatric specialists from area specialty hospitals and clinics, screen referred children. Most referrals are from the family doctor, pediatrician, or school nurse, although referrals can be made by anyone. Clinics are held by appointment only, and are presently for Hearing and Vision problems. Future plans are for Cardiac and Plastic specialists to hold clinics. There is no charge for these clinics and referrals for treatment if needed are made to Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps.
